Pamela Schettler, PhD, serves as the biostatistician for all projects in the center.  Dr. Schettler has over 30 years of experience in the design of psychiatric research studies, development of study protocols and data collection instruments, design and implementation of effective data management systems, planning and implementation of statistical analyses, and preparation of research presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Throughout her career she has worked closely with teams of investigators, project coordinators, data managers, and statistical programmers for single-site and multi-site research studies.  She has been responsible for database quality assurance for major clinical research initiatives including the NIMH Genetics initiative and the Collaborative Depression Study - Clinical Studies.  She has managed and supervised staff supporting database development and analysis contracts for research and program evaluation projects conducted by several NIH institutes (NIMH, NEI, NINDS, NICHD).
